Former Ghana assistant coach, George Boateng has praised Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus.
Boateng worked with the Arsenal midfielder and the West Ham United attacker prior to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.
Reflecting on his working relationship with the Partey and Kudus, Boateng said, “Two different players but with great qualities. Partey is more of a defending midfielder, and a holding midfielder and Kudus is a more attacking player. But before talking about the players I want to talk about the human beings,” he told Tribal Football.
“Partey is a lovely boy who has a very good humanitarian way of living his life and he does a lot for the community in Ghana. You can talk to him, he has a very good understanding of what the society is about and he gives so much respect to the coaches and his teammates.
“As a player Thomas has done unbelievably well, he is such a valuable asset to the club and when Arsenal is playing without him you can see that the team is different.
“Regarding Kudus, I think that he is one of the most creative attacking players that Ghana has had and he is constantly developing
“He has a great dribble, so strong physically, powerful, and very technical. He is a very quiet and shy boy and I have a huge admiration for him,” he added.
George Boateng left his position following the Black Stars’ early exit at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
