Prophetess Lesley Osei, the wife of Apostle Dominis Osei, founder of Kingdom Full Tabernacle International Ministries, shared a humorous perspective on how many people initially perceived her due to her appearance.
During an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show with Roselyn Felli, Prophetess Osei explained that many Ghanaians, including her husband’s family, mistakenly believed she was not Ghanaian, even calling her a “swagger” or “Akata Ni” because of her appearance.
Although born in America, Prophetess Osei’s roots are Ghanaian, as both her parents are from Ghana.
She spent several years living in Ghana and speaks the local dialect fluently.
She emphasized that her upbringing was deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture, with her mother exclusively speaking to her children in the local language, not English.
Despite being born in the U.S., Prophetess Osei has always been closely connected to her Ghanaian heritage.
Her husband, Apostle Osei, on the other hand, did not see her in the same light.
He mentioned knowing Prophetess Osei since she was young, as she is his friend’s sister.
Their paths crossed again years later, and he proposed to her, leading to their marriage. The couple has been together for over a decade and has six children.
The couple is also known for their viral marriage proposal videos and miraculous testimonies shared within their Ministry.
Currently, they are in Ghana hosting the “Revival Culture” event from December 12th to 13th, 2024, at the Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Accra.
Regarding the term “Akata,” it is a colloquial term in Ghana often used to refer to someone with a lot of swag or a confident attitude, akin to calling someone “Guy Guy.”
