-

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Shama in the Western Region, Emelia Arthur, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for the Essikado-Ketan Constituency, Charles Bissue.

In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday, Madam Arthur described Mr. Bissue as “too light” and suggested he has “a lot of issues around him.”

She refrained from elaborating on the specifics of the issues surrounding the NPP candidate, explaining, “I’m not ready to talk about him.”

Madam Arthur praised Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah, the NDC’s candidate for Essikado-Ketan, stating, “Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah is already making an impact, even though she has not yet been officially named as the MP.

She disclosed that, Mrs. Danquah’s dedication and her capabilities as a potential MP for the constituency.

“She has done a lot of work in the constituency and is known for her down-to-earth approach and effective advocacy for her constituents. Dr. Grace Ayensu is winning the seat because she genuinely serves her community and knows how to represent her people” she added.

The Essikado-Ketan Constituency, located in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Area of the Western Region, includes notable communities such as Botumagyabu, Ketan, Kojokrom, and Essikado (British Sekondi).
