The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inter Allies FC, Delali Senaya has explained the reason behind his decision to appoint Japanese trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi as the news head coach of the club.
Kenichi made a surprise return to the Ghana Premier League, 18 months after his shock exit from Hearts of Oak.
He was appointed to replace Inter Allies’ coach, Yaw Acheampong.
Delali Senaya in an interview with Adom Sports explained that their reason for appointing Kenichi is because he has the experience to build a great team for the club.
“He is a youth coach and has the experience to coach young boys so that went into our decision to appoint him as the head coach,’ he said.
He explained that Kenichi has been mandated to ‘build a team that can compete effectively and finish in the top four.’
Allies have already signed four players this transfer window including Nigerien player, Victorien Adebayo who they are expected to unveil by the close of the week.
