Empowering future leaders: Jana Foundation inspires female students at Kwabenya SHS

-

At Jana Foundation, the mission is to empower young women to step confidently into leadership roles and play an integral part in shaping a brighter future for Ghana.

Recently, the foundation, led by its founder Janet Nabla, had the privilege of visiting Kwabenya Senior High School (SHS), where an inspiring session with the female students was held.

The students were encouraged to aim higher and envision leadership positions beyond the traditional roles of Girl Prefects and their assistants.

The atmosphere was charged with energy and anticipation as our team, led by CEO Janet Asana Mandinaam Nabla, engaged the students in lively discussions and motivational talks.

We emphasized the power of self-confidence, urging these young women to challenge the barriers that often hold them back and to believe in their ability to lead in diverse fields such as politics, governance, business, and more.

Throughout the session, we shared personal stories of female trailblazers who have made significant strides in various sectors, reminding the students that the path to leadership is not limited to any one domain.

Our goal was not only to motivate but also to equip these future leaders with the tools they need to break through societal expectations and embrace opportunities that will allow them to make a lasting impact.

At Jana Foundation, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of female leaders who will go on to break new ground and challenge norms.

The energy and enthusiasm at Kwabenya SHS reaffirmed our belief in the power of young women to transform their communities and the world.

We left the school that day with a renewed sense of hope and excitement, knowing that these young women are not just dreaming of leadership; they are ready to seize it.
