Elections will be won on records, not insults – Bawumia to Mahama

-

The NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has declared that the upcoming December 7 elections will be decided by performance and achievements, not insults.

This is in reply to some comment former president John Mahama made, in which he termed the Bawumia-led NPP’s agenda as ‘stupid’.

Speaking at a campaign rally in the Oforikrom constituency, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the NPP’s record of implementing impactful policies over the last eight years, which, he noted, have touched nearly every Ghanaian household.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized that while the NPP has delivered real results, the NDC lacks similar accomplishments to showcase.

“Insults and personal attacks won’t decide this election—ideas and records will,” he remarked, expressing confidence in his party’s prospects for victory.

In support, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Wontumi, stated that the party is committed to achieving an overwhelming win, aiming for an 80% vote share in the Ashanti Region.

He assured party faithful that the NPP is mobilizing fully to secure another term, focusing on its record of governance.
