Election diaries: Phillis Naa Koryoo turns washing bay attendant [Video]

-

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for the Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, has taken an unusual yet engaging approach to her campaign.

In a bid to connect with her constituents on a more personal level, she rolled up her sleeves and took on the role of a washing bay attendant during one of her constituency campaign engagements.

In a video that has since gained attention, Phillis Naa Koryoo can be seen actively washing cars, interacting with workers, and engaging with the local community.

This hands-on gesture is part of her broader campaign strategy to bridge the gap between politicians and the everyday lives of the people she seeks to represent.

Her actions come just days after her main contender, the incumbent MP Mavis Hawa Koomson, was seen selling watermelons in a public market as part of her own campaign.
