The NPP-USA Deputy Communications Director and a native of the Western North Region, Ampem-Darko, has donated towards the party’s campaign activities in the Juaboso, Bodi and Wiawso constituencies.
The donation worth over Ghc300,000 included campaign logistics and an undisclosed cash amount.
The colourful event that took place at the Juaboso Party office on 2nd December was well attended by party faithful who were highly energized by the support they received and exhibited their readiness to turn the constituencies blue for the NPP.
This not the first time Mr. Ampem-Darko has shown genuine commitment to helping the NPP’s quest to wining more seats in Western North Region.
It will be recalled that in 2016 he supported Akontombra constituency with campaign logistics and cash which let to NPP winning the seat for first time for Alex Tetteh to become MP.
During the 2020 elections, he donated 10 motorbikes, 2000 T-SHIRT, 4 cars including an NPP-Branded Mercedes sprinter bus to the Western North Regional Campaign.
Moreover, Mr. Ampem Darko was very instrumental in maintaining the Wiawso seat for the NPP when a member of the party contested as an independent candidate.
“My goal is to see Dr. Bawumia win 2024 election and to see Dr. Alex Ampaabeng, Mr. Nicholas Andoh and Mr. Festus Bumakama Agyapong as MPs come December 7th for NPP government to continue the legacy and generational development plan for Ghana with the Bold Solutions,” said Mr. Ampem-Darko.
Mr. Ampem-Darko was accompanied by the NPP-USA bigwigs led by Madam Obaa Yaa Frimpong, NPP-USA Chairperson, Mr. James Owusu, 1st Vice Chairman, Dr. Akwasi Acheampong, Bawumia Diaspora Campaign Chairman, Mr. Seth Gyamfi, Michigan Chapter Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Mensah, NPP-USA Deputy Secretary, Mr. Fish, the NPP-USA Global Medical Coordinator.
Mr Aboagye Gyedu, the CEO of VALCO, who doubled as the former Western North Regional Minister and MP for Bibiani Anwiaso Bekwai Constituency also made a cash donations to the three Parliamentary candidates to augment their campaigns.
Dr. Alex Ampaabeng on behalf of all the PCs expressed their profound gratitude and thanked Mr. Ampem-Darko and the NPP-USA team for their support at this crucial stretch towards the finishing line of the elections.
He assured that come 7th December Dr. Bawumia and all the PCs will be elected President and Members of Parliament respectively.
