Election 2024: Many Ghanaians aren’t willing to vote – Ayariga

-

The flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has predicted a low turnout in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

According to him, a major issue he has observed during his campaign tour across the country is the likelihood of low voter turnout due to voter apathy.

He shared this observation during an interview on The Pulse on JoyNews on Friday, November 15.

“Many Ghanaians we have interacted with are not willing to vote and that is the biggest problem many of the political parties and leaders are not seeing,” he said.

He further explained that many voters are patiently waiting for December 7 but have decided not to cast their votes, which could result in a low turnout for the country.

However, he encouraged voters not to give up, but to channel their frustrations into voting out the current administration if they are unhappy with its style of governance.

Mr. Ayariga also urged Ghanaians to vote for the APC and give the party a chance to transform the current situation for the benefit of all.

He went on to outline some of the policies the party would implement if given the mandate.
