Election 2024: Make no mistake, we’ll beat NDC – Bawumia

-

Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says he is now focused on widening the victory gap between himself and his main opponent, John Mahama, as he is confident of winning the elections.

The NPP Flagbearer is concluding a four-day campaign stump in the Northern Region, which happens to be his third phase in that region.

Speaking at a campaign rally at Saboba, Dr Bawumia said that nobody should make any mistake about his success in the upcoming elections and that he wants to beat the former president with a wide margin.

He blasted the former president for not doing anything to benefit the North during his presidency after all the money that was given to him to help the people there.

“Make no mistake about it. By the grace of God, Insha Allah, we are winning this election. The only issue for me today, if we vote today, is the gap.

“How big a gap we are going to give our opponents? I want a big gap. I want all of you to come out because we want to beat them well, well,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Paramount Chief of Saboba, Bowan John Mateer Sakojim IV thanked the NPP government for the policies and projects they have initiated to improve the lives of the people in the area.

He expressed confidence in the leadership qualities of Dr. Bawumia and pledged his support to him.
