Lawyer Amma Frimpomaa, a senior member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged first time voters to show appreciation to the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with their votes when they go to polls on December 7.
She said that remained the surest way they could show appreciation to the government for the implementation of the government’s Free Maternal Health and the Free Senior High School (FSHS) programmes, which had benefited them most.
In an interview with the media at Odomase in the Sunyani West Municipality, Lawyer Frimpomaa said the first time voters and their parents would remain ingrates, if they failed to vote for the Vice President and retain the NPP in political power when they go to the polls on December 7.
Lawyer Frimpomaa was speaking to the media after she donated eight brand-new motorbikes, 1,000 branded NPP ‘T-shirts’ and GHC20, 000 to the Sunyani West Constituency office of the NPP at Odomase, the constituency capital.
She said the machines and the ‘T-shirts’ were to be distributed among the seven zones in the constituency to empower the coordinators to upscale the electioneering and to reach out the electorates at the hard-to-reach communities.
Madam Frimpomaa reminded Ghanaians that the implementation of the government flagship FSHS programme was making huge impact in the lives of the younger generation, hence the need for the electorates to consider that and vote to retain the NPP in political power.
That would enable Alhaji Dr Bawumia’s government to strengthen the programme to benefit more Ghanaians, she stated.
Meanwhile, Ms Frimpomaa said the NPP could not afford to lose Election 2024, and therefore called on the party to avoid complacency, intensify the electioneering and propagated the visions of the Vice President to the electorates.
She also urged them to do more to enhance the chances of the party in winning and retaining the Sunyani West constituency seat too.
