Gospel legend, Elder Emmanuel Mireku is set to hold three musical concerts to mark his 40th anniversary in music industry.
At the launch of the anniversary, the manager of the gospel musician, Peter Tekper said the concerts will be held in three regions as part of the activities for the celebration.
He said the first concert will take place on 3rd August, 2018 at the Jackson Park in Koforidua where Elder Mireku lives.
From there, there shall be another one in Kumasi on 14th September, 2018.
He will wrap it up at the Black Star Square in Accra on November 9, 2018.
The launch which was held at the MJ Grand Hotel at East Legon in Accra had the media, musicians, family of Elder Mireku and the clergy in attendance.
Some musicians present were Rev. Mensah Bonsu, Ohemaa Mercy, Uncle Ato, Mary Ghansah, Georgia Agyei, among others.
Elder Mireku who was thankful to God for sustaining his music ministry for 40 years, also said his brand was still solid and that he will still project the work of God through music.
He has more than 40 volumes (albums) of songs and has contributed immensely to the gospel music industry.
His songs are sang in almost every church in Ghana – most of which have been sampled by other artistes without permission.
The Pentecost Elder has influenced the style of music of musicians like Kwaku Gyasi, Frank Asomadu and many others.
He has songs such as ‘Aduru Wo So,’ ‘Adom Aye Wonsa Ma,’ ‘Maranatha’ and ‘Wose Ayeyi.
