As part of its 2025 Impact Project, Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen has raised and presented GH₵50,000 to support kidney patients across Ghana.

This follows the launch of a fundraising initiative on March 13, 2025, aimed at assisting kidney disease patients struggling to afford life-saving treatments.

The amount was raised through donations from benevolent listeners who were touched by the stories of some patients who appeared on the show during the launch.

Presenting the cash donation, the host of Ekosii Sen, Philip Osei Bonsu, expressed gratitude to listeners both home and abroad for their generosity.

Baffour Kojo Ahenkorah, President of the Renal Patients Association, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the group, stating that the donation would go a long way to aid their treatment.

“I feel good and motivated anytime such support comes in, and we are grateful to all donors. I will put this money to good use and update our donors on every progress,” he stated.

The fundraising is a year-long campaign, and to support this crucial cause, donations can be made to the account 0544334714, with the account name Dominic Kissi Yeboah.
