The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced plans to undertake emergency maintenance works on the CLOU Prepayment Metering System’s server.
The exercise has been scheduled for Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 29.
ECG in a statement explained that, the maintenance will affect the buying and selling of prepaid credit at vending points.
The affected districts will include Afienya, Nungua, Tema North, Tema South, Ablekuma, Bortianor, Korle-Bu, Nsawam, Ashaiman, Amasaman, Kaneshie and Dansoman.
As a result, all CLOU prepaid customers are thus advised to purchase enough prepaid credit to last the downtime period.
The ECG has apologised for any inconvenience that will be caused.
