Drobonsohene restricts Cheddar for campaigning without permission

-

The chief of Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram Plains District of the Ashanti Region has revealed that he expelled Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, from his land for organizing a political campaign without obtaining permission from the palace.

The Drobonsohene expressed his disapproval of Cheddar’s decision which he believes is a sign of disrespect.

“Do you have a community?” the chief retorted, reminding that it is customary for anyone seeking to engage the community for political purposes to visit the palace and seek permission.

He made it clear that no further political events will be allowed until Cheddar fulfills the necessary traditional protocols.

Cheddar’s visit to Afram Plains is part of his 276 constituency tour ahead of the December 7 polls.
