Premier league returnees, Dreams FC have stunned Accra Hearts of Oak in the GHALCA G8 tournament to become champions in the final match played yester at the Cape Coast stadium.

They had to come from a goal down in the 12th minute after Daniel Kodie’s 30-yards strike found the back of the net to put the Phobians head.
Be it as it may, Dreams FC responded swiftly 6 minutes later with an exceptional finish from the foot of Razak Cromwell to level the scores.

Dreams FC started the second half miles ahead of the Phobians and their persistent play was rewarded in the 60th minute when goalkeeper Ben Mensah brought down Veteran striker Eric Gawu in the box for Skipper Leonard Owusu to convert the resulting penalty expertly to give the Dawu club the lead.
Things moved from bad to worse for the Phobians who were trying so hard to grab an equalizer in the 84th minute as defender and Captain Inusah Musah received his matching orders after attracting his second yellow card of the game.
Dreams FC held on to their lead to lift their first ever trophy of the year and look poised for the 2017/2018 premier league season which starts in the second week of February.
