Dr. Andoh is also standing trial before a circuit court over the charges of operating an unlicensed medical facility and practising medicine without a license.

But in a ruling today Tuesday, the court presided over by Mr Justice Kofi Dorgu, denied Dr Obeng-Andoh bail with the explanation that the bail application was premature.

According to him, the autopsy report on the death of Mrs Offei-Andoh was not out and Dr Obeng when granted bail could interfere with the doctor performing the autopsy.
Mr Justice Dorgu, however, ruled that Dr Obeng-Andoh was at liberty to reapply for bail when the autopsy report is released.
