A devastating rainstorm has left several families in Sehwi Abrokofe, a community in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region, homeless after ripping off the roofs of over 20 houses.
The heavy downpour, which struck unexpectedly, was accompanied by strong winds that caused widespread destruction.

Many lost essential household items, including mattresses, television sets, clothing, and furniture, as rainwater flooded their homes.
Trees were also uprooted, adding to the chaos and damage.
Some victims who recounted their ordeal to Adom News expressed frustration and helplessness over the loss of their homes and possessions.
Many have been forced to seek shelter with relatives or in makeshift accommodations while hoping for relief.
The chief of Sehwi Abrokofe, Nana Kwabena Yeboah II, who was also affected by the storm, has made a passionate appeal to the government and local authorities for urgent assistance.
He appealed for immediate support to help displaced residents recover from the disaster.
