“Some of our schools do not have enough space for students. For example we can build a three storey classroom at Kumasi Girls, and this double track will help us do this” he said.
“The double track system with the free education will allow every student to go to school. Would you rather allow some of our children walking on our streets just because our schools don’t have enough space for them?…..or you want them to study under trees?” he added.
Hon. Kokofu cited how former President, Kwame Nkrumah implemented a similar policy which gave a lot of students the opportunity to further their education.
