Students in St. Mary’s Boys Senior High School have been thrown into a state of shock following a robbery attack in one of their dormitories on the dawn of Sunday, November 10, 2019.
According to Lord Tawia, the Adom News correspondent who broke the news on Midday News Sunday, the robbers injured some of the students using machetes.
The victims of the attack were sent to Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital before being transferred to the Cape Coast Hospital for surgery.

Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the attack are yet to be identified or arrested.
The chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) for the school has asked the government to come to their aid by assigning more than three security men to the school.
The good news, according to the PTA Chair, is that all the victims of the attack are responding well to treatment.

The victims were first sent to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, where they were referred for emergent attention at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
He said even though the perpetrators of the attack are yet to be identified, he suspects it’s the handiwork of a violent group in the Apowa, the host community of the school.
