Black Stars captain and President of Baby Jet Promotions, Asamoah Gyan, has intimated that it won’t be right for Emmanuel Tagoe and Isaac Dogboe to fight.
Many Ghanaians weren’t impressed with Tagoe’s output in his last Saturday’s fight against Fernando David Saucedo at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Due to that a lot of boxing fans believe that despite the weight class between Dogboe and Tagoe, the former has the power to take down the latter in a boxing bout.
“I don’t support that fight to come off, the two boxers are raising the flag of Ghana high and i don’t think it will be right for them to fight,” Gyan told Hot FM.

“Dogboe has gotten the chance to fight for the World title so the two can’t fight, I don’t support it. Moreover, they are not at the same weight class, Dogboe is at super bantamweight while Tagoe is a lightweight boxer. If the two will fight Tagoe must come to super featherweight and i don’t think is right.”
Gyan added that if Ghanaians really want the fight between Tagoe and Dogboe to happen he is ready to promote it and believe that Tagoe will emerge champion when the two boxers meet in the ring.
Tagoe currently holds the IBO lightweight belt while Dogboe holds the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt.
