Don’t be quick to respond to the ‘Doctor of Economics’ – NDC told

-

Dr Gideon Boako, spokesperson to the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has charged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) not to be quick to reply the ‘Doctor of Economics’ after he addresses national issues.

According to Dr Boako, Dr Bawumia has specialised in the field and understands the issues of the economy better.

His comment follows a Town Hall Meeting the Vice President addressed in Kumasi on Tuesday which some members of the NDC have described as statistical galamsey.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Wednesday, Dr Boako urged the NDC to be quick in listening and slow to speak.

“You will always make mistakes if you are quick to respond. You need to take note and be tactful in your response,” he said.

Dr Boako further said the NDC cannot be a benchmark for the records set by the incumbent government.

“We have not solved all the problems of Ghanaians but the performance is far better than that of NDC in eight years and they would want to come and destroy the gains made by the Akufo-Addo-led government,” he argued.
