Divine Winners Company Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-quality bio-stimulants and organic fertilizers, recently held a special awards ceremony in Tarkwa to recognize the remarkable contributions of farmers to the nation’s GDP.
This inaugural event, which attracted numerous dignitaries and farmers, celebrated the hard work and dedication of those in the agricultural sector.

The event’s prizes included flat-screen TVs, deep freezers, motorbikes, cutlasses, and more, showcasing the company’s commitment to supporting farmers.
Speaking to the press after the ceremony, Divine Winners CEO Dacosta Osei Mensah revealed that the company had spent 1.5 million Ghana cedis to honour farmers who have played a pivotal role in the country’s economic growth despite the many challenges faced by the agricultural industry.

He assured attendees that this event would not be a one-off, emphasizing that it will become an annual occasion to celebrate and support farmers.
Mensah also encouraged farmers to continue placing their trust in Divine Winners, promising to deliver the best organic fertilizers to help improve their harvests.
Nana Banyin Acquah Thompson, the Western Regional Director of Food and Agriculture, spoke on behalf of the Minister of Food and Agriculture.
He urged traditional leaders in mining communities to take a stand against illegal mining (galamsey), as the government intensifies efforts to combat these destructive activities.
Thompson highlighted the severe impact of galamsey on farmlands, warning that the country faces serious risks, including a sharp decline in food production, if immediate action is not taken.
Kwame Alex, the 2024 National Best Cocoa Farmer, shared his success story during the event, attributing much of his achievement to the products of Divine Winners. He encouraged other farmers to use the company’s fertilizers to boost their farming efforts.
He also noted that agriculture has created significant wealth in other regions and, with the right practices, Ghana’s farmers can reap the benefits of their hard work.
The event underscored the vital role of agriculture in Ghana’s economy and reaffirmed Divine Winners’ commitment to supporting the nation’s farmers.
