The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has urged party members to disregard a letter circulating on social media calling for the submission of nominees from constituencies for appointments.
In a statement dated December 25, 2024, Ashie Moore clarified that he is unaware of any such directive issued by the national leadership of the party.
He emphasized that the regional executive committee had neither been consulted nor given approval for such an action.
“This is indeed a sole decision of the Regional Secretary without any recourse to laid-down party structures. Kindly disregard the letter completely with the seriousness it deserves,” Moore stated.
Assurance to Party Members
Ashie Moore further assured party members that the transition team of the President-Elect is working diligently to ensure a smooth handover.
He stressed the team’s focus on delivering the top 10 policies planned for implementation within the first 120 days in office.
