A select team comprising Members and staff of Parliament, recorded a surprise 3-1 win over ex-Ghanaian footballers in a curtain raiser friendly ahead of the Democracy Cup game on Wednesday night.
The Parliamentarians’ first goal came from the MP for Obuasi East, Dr. Patrick Boakye-Yiadom, who controlled a superb pass from midfield before slotting the ball past the onrushing Richard Olele Kingson.
The 47-year-old’s goal impressed the teeming crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium, and since being shared on social media, many people have been heaping praise on the Medical Doctor.
