Daniel Darkwah completes 2-year move to Asante Kotoko

Ghana Defender and former captain of Aduana Stars, Daniel Darkwah, has joined Ghana’s 2017 Confederations Cup representatives, Asante Kotoko.

The soft spoken left back after a successful medicals yesterday has penned a three-years contract with the Ashanti regional giants.
Darkwah served the Dormaa-based champions for seven seasons but refused to renew his contract after the end of the 2016/2017 season.
He featured twenty times for Aduana Stars in the premiership last season and managed to score two goals.

Given the three empty slots left on Asante Kotoko’s Confederations Cup squad, the experienced defender might just have a taste of the continental competition for a second time.
He was captain for the Black Stars B when they played Burkina Faso in the two-legged 2018 CHAN qualifier last year.
