Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has lauded former Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, describing him as one of the highest-performing IGPs in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
In an interview on Face to Face on Channel One TV, Fordjour highlighted several key performance indicators (KPIs) that underscore Dampare’s exceptional leadership.
“Dr. Akuffo Dampare, whatever assessment people may have of him, objectively looking at the Fourth Republic, he will come across as one of the highest-performing IGPs we’ve had,” Fordjour remarked.
He cited metrics such as reduced crime rates, increased police visibility, improved public perception of the police, and enhanced discipline and integrity within the force as notable achievements under Dampare’s tenure.
