Daasebre Gyamenah’s wife no longer homeless

The wife of Daasebre Gyamenah has found a new accommodation after being ejected from her former home by the big brother of the late highlife musician.

Madam Amina Ibrahim had claimed in interviews on Adom FM and Adom TV that she and her 9-year-old son had been ejected by the big brother for reasons which were not immediately made known to her.

She claimed further that she had no money to feed herself and the son.

“I am staying at my friend’s place at New Town in a single room. I used to live with Daasebre at Kokomlemle until his death but his big brother broke into the house and threw my things out”, she said.

Tema-based rapper, Criss Waddle and veteran music producer, Owusu Sekyere Adu, popularly known as ‘Owusec’ who were moved by her stories donated GH₵ 5,000 and GH₵ 10,000 respectively to the late highlife musician’s wife.

The lady, according to Adom FM’s “Entertainment Hall” host Mike 2, has been able to rent an apartment in a popular suburb of Accra.

Mike added that, she was allowed to use the rest of the money for her daily upkeep.
