I cried when court discharged me over murder of Fennec Okyere – Bulldog

Popular artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson widely known as Bulldog has said he was full of tears when court declared him a free man over a three-year murder trial.
Bulldog, also a former manager of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, stood trial for three years over his alleged involvement in the death of Fennec Okyere, Kwaw Kesse’s former manager.
Bulldog was picked up by the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in 2014 at Kokomlemle, a suburb of Accra, as a prime suspect in Okyere’s death.

In a report filed by The Publisher Newspaper, The Accra Central District Court discharged Bulldog, who is also the Artist & Repertoire (A&R) Manager for Zylofon Music – over the alleged murder of Fennec Okyere, another Artist Manager.
The court presided over by Worlanyo Kotoku said that the prosecution has been conspicuously absent in the matter. The court also held that the complainant had also been absent.
Reacting to the discharge in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Bulldog revealed that “When I left the court room and drove on the highway, the whole time I cried. I didn’t know if it was tears of joy or what.”

According to the artiste manager, he ‘felt like some weight has been lifted off him. God lifted the weight and I am 100 percent again…’ he cried.
Bulldog encouraged people who are riding through such unfortunate circumstances to remain steadfast in their maker.
He said “God can use one to do whatever he wants and he has his plan. When the issue happens we might think God has abandoned us but he will sail us through.”
Bulldog thanked his family especially his wife and all loved ones who stood by him during these hard times.
