CPP flagbearer blames NPP and NDC for Ghana’s economic struggles

-

The Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimponmaa Sarpong Kumankumah, has strongly criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Ghana’s ongoing economic challenges.

According to her, both parties are responsible for the poor governance that has resulted in severe hardships for the citizens.

Speaking in an interview with Channel One TV on Tuesday, October 8, Nana Akosua urged Ghanaians to vote for the CPP in the 2024 general elections as a path toward meaningful change.

She emphasized how difficult it has become for many to afford even three meals a day due to the current economic conditions.

Nana Akosua pledged that, if elected, her government would focus on economic independence, affordable housing, and universal access to clean water.

“The fact is, the major parties have squandered our resources. They are the reason we’re in debt, the reason Kenkey costs GHC10, and why young people can’t afford decent housing or a decent standard of living,” she remarked.
