COVID-19 Trust Fund to renovate isolation center at Pantang hospital

The Board of Trustees for the National Covid-19 Trust Fund has revealed it’s intentions to renovate the and equip the isolation centre of the Pantang Hospital following a request by the management of the hospital.

This was made known by Madam Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, a member of the Board of Trustees when the Covid-19 National Trust Fund Board presented some PPEs and a ventilator that costs about 30,000 Euro (equivalent of Ghc200,000), to the Pantang Hospital.

She also said that, since its inauguration as a board, they have been able to do alot of donations to boost governments policies and strategies to find solutions fo the pandemic.

Acknowledging the services provided by all health workers as well as the doctors and workers at the Pantang hospital, Madam Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie call on all to support the government to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mrs. Afenyo Dadzie on behalf of the Trustees pleaded with the ministry of health and the striking workers to dialogue as soon as possible and make sure they come back to work.

Speaking on behalf of the the Pantang Hospital, Hospital Director, Dr. Frank Baninh, appreciated the kind gesture by the Board of Trustees of the COVID-19 Trust Fund to respond to their request to renovate the hospital’s isolation center.
