Court to auction ‘akpeteshie’ to settle man’s debt

The Breman Asikuma District Magistrate Court in the Central region is set to auction one Kofi Badu’s akpeteshie (local gin) to settle his debts on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 9:00am.

A public auction notice issued by the office of the Sherriff of the court said;

“Notice is hereby given that in pursuant of a Decree of the said court bearing the date July 22, 2019, in the above suit, property of the debtor having been seized in execution under the writ of Fifa will be sold by public auction unless the said decree is sooner satisfied.”

The auction will include “three drums of akpeteshie drink, two tins of akpteshie drink and ½ tins of akpeteshie drink.”
