A man who hails from US, Connecticut, did not allow the coronavirus to stand in the way of his anniversary.
Bob Shellard could not visit his wife at her nursing home this year because of coronavirus precautions, which restrict visitations across the state, through at least April, HuffPost reported.
However, nothing would stop Shellard from showing Nancy some love.
Respecting the measures put into place to keep the occupants of the nursing home safe, he came up with a romantic gesture to celebrate their 67th anniversary.
Shellard made a sign, which read: “I’ve loved you 67 years and still do. Happy Anniversary.” He stood outside Nancy’s window with the sign and a bunch of balloons.
