COP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah assumes role at Interior Ministry

Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has officially assumed office as the Technical Advisor to the Interior Minister, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak.

She reported for duty on Thursday, March 20, 2025, following her reassignment from her previous role as Director of Research and Planning at the Ghana Police Service.

The Ministry of the Interior shared photos from her first day on its official Facebook page, capturing moments of her engagement with the Minister and other officials.

Welcoming her, Minister Mohammed-Mubarak emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving the Ministry’s mandate. “I look forward to working together to fulfill our objectives,” he stated.

For her part, COP Addo-Danquah expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged her commitment to supporting the Ministry’s objectives.

In her new role, she is expected to work closely with key stakeholders to enhance security policies and strategies aimed at improving law enforcement operations in Ghana.
