Hearts of Oak Board Member, Barima Atuahene, has advised the head coach of the club, Henry Wellington to be bold and focused in order to move the team forward.
He made this statement following Heart of Oaks 3-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea on match day 5 of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League.
It’s the first time since 2003 that the Phobians have conceded three unanswered goals in the Ghana Premier League.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Mr. Atuahene said,”The coach has to be bold to move the team forward”.
“The coach should be more focused. To lose 3-0 against Berekum Chelsea is uncalled for; it’s very bad and it is not Hearts of Oak”.
Speaking on coach Wellington’s strategy on the day, the National Chapters Committee Chairman mentioned said: “We need a lot of technical brains to make Hearts of Oak great again”, he added.
Berekum Chelsea maintained their 15th position on the league log with four points after 5 games with one game in hand while Hearts of Oak dropped to 7th with seven points.
