The chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Cudjoe Fianoo has claimed that clubs competing in the ongoing GHALCA Top 8 tournament are keen on winning the off – season tournament.
The competition comprises league champions, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place teams, FA cup champion and the three promoted teams from division one league.
“This competition is a very good preparation grounds for the two clubs (Aduana Stars and Kotoko) which are representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup respectively.
“Ashgold last two seasons won this competition and continued to win the league that season,
Aduana Stars last season won it and are current champions of the just ended league.
The tournament has been scheduled for two weeks.
