Christians urged to promote unity

In a powerful call for unity and evangelism the Head Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church Dome Pillar 2 Rev. Sylvester Osei Owusu, has urged Christians to actively spread the Word of God and live in harmony.

His remarks were delivered during the church’s much-anticipated annual event, “Carols on the Street,” held at Dome in Accra.

The event is an initiative aimed at reaching out to the community and winning more souls for Christ, attracted a large crowd and featured a vibrant celebration of faith.

The programme brought together church members and residents, to share the message of Christ and foster unity among believers.

Speaking to Adom News, Rev. Owusu emphasized the importance of preaching the Gospel beyond the church walls, calling on Christians to actively engage in outreach and evangelism.

“Our mission as believers is to spread the Word of God to all corners of the earth. We must not allow division to weaken the body of Christ; instead, we should be united in our faith and our efforts to bring others to Christ,” he said.

The event featured a series of soul-stirring performances by gospel artists, including the renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Uncle Ato.

The event not only highlighted the importance of worship but also demonstrated the church’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Prayer Director of Word on the Street Global also spoke at the event Mishael Amarh emphasizing the organization’s dedication to supporting initiatives that promote the Gospel.

“We are committed to supporting any movement that uplifts the Word of God and encourages believers to live according to His will.

The event was marked by a spirit of joy, unity, and faith as participants came together to celebrate the Christmas season while reinforcing the importance of community and outreach.
