Head Coach of Black Starlets, Paa Kwesi Fabin has lamented over his unpaid salary for the past two years.
According to him, the payment of his salary is long overdue and should be payed to him.
“I am talking about my salary now because I think it has been long overdue and I believe this is the time and the opportunity to discuss it”, he told Nhyira FM.
Paa Kwesi Fabin has not received any salary for his work since 2015 and according to him, the only thing that kept him going was his passion for youth football.
“I have not received any salary from the GFA for 2years, however, the only thing motivating me to work is my passion for youth football. I like working with the youth”.
“When we qualified for African Cup, there were two clubs who were ready to pay me well but I told them to hold on because I had to complete the national assignment”.
Coach Fabin has led the Under 17 squad to three consecutive World Cup tournaments, our third entry was in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in India where Mali sent us packing after the quarter finals.
