A new television show dubbed Chop Time is set to air on Ghana’s most-watched television station, Adom TV.
Chop Time, is a show that is aimed at reviving viewers’ interests in local Ghanaian dishes as it tells the stories behind selected Ghanaian foods that will be profiled on the show.

The show, which will be hosted by Ghana’s television goddess, Afia Amankwah Tamakloe, will give important tips on how to prepare the Ghanaian dishes that will be on the show.
The show is slated for airing every Sunday between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and will involve the use of guests who will treat viewers to a variety of Ghanaian, and for that matter, African dishes and their origin.
The show will premiere on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Chop Time promises to lighten up your television screen as each week, the show will expose families, friends and relatives to interesting and riveting stories surrounding the foods they may have been eating for years.
After guests who may be identified from any segment of society are invited onto the show to cook, friends and families; school mates and work colleagues will be made to sit around and enjoy the prepared dishes as they chit-chat.
Guests onto the show will include Chief Executive Officers of companies, Manager, Religious Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Petty Trader, the Street Hawker, Storeowners as the show seeks to inject diversity of guests.
The unique food show features local dishes prepared by locals. The name Chop Time is a unique Ghanaian term which stands for meal time or getting something to eat.

From Sunday, therefore, Ghanaians will have yet another reason to be glued to their television sets as chop time delivers entertainment and education.
