Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has said government will the Efua Sutherland Children’s’ Park into an Ultra-Modern Park backed by ICT tools to serve as a social relaxation amenity to the citizenry.
“The budget will transform the Efua Sutherland Children’s park into an Ultra-modern park provided with ICT tools…” he made this known while delivering the 2017 Budget Statement and Government Economic Policy in Parliament on Thursday, March 2, 2016.
According to him, the public sector would partner the private sector to make sure the implementation of the project before the end of the year.
The Finance Minister also said the the budget will provide jobs for the youth as it seeks to upgrade the state’s tourism into a world class standard.
Mr Ken Ofori Atta added that “food festivals shall be organised to showcase the rich diverse foods of the Ghanaian culture through cooking competition programs…”
