The Office of the President has directed the revocation of all appointments and recruitments made in Ghana’s public sector after December 7, 2024, citing non-compliance with good governance principles.
In a notice issued on February 10, 2025, Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah instructed all heads of government institutions to annul such appointments and submit a comprehensive report on the actions taken by February 17, 2025.
The directive aligns with the government’s stance on ensuring transparency and accountability as the administration transitions.
Government institutions are expected to comply with the order and report back to the presidency within the stipulated timeframe.
