A former Deputy National Organizer and Director of Special Duties for the NDC in the 2024 election, Chief Hamilton Biney laid to rest his cherished partner, Lucy Ama Nyame Cofie.
This was at a solemn ceremony on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Lashibi Funeral Home, Accra.
Chief Biney was deeply sorrowful as he reflected on the kind and memorable moments they shared.
In his grief, he found solace in the belief that it is God who gives and takes life.
Family, friends, colleagues, and NDC members from the executives, Women’s Wing, and Youth Wing gathered to offer their condolences.
Lucy’s children, overwhelmed with emotion, bid farewell to their devoted mother, whose kindness and nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
During the service, the Deputy Director for Special Duties, Brogya Genfi, Ghanaian actress Kasoume Sinari, and Acting Deputy Director of the National Youth Authority (NYA) Ruth Seddoh, shared words of comfort and encouragement for the family in this difficult time.
Former Deputy NDC General Secretary, Dr. Peter Boamah Otukonor, National Youth and Minister for Youth Development and Employment, Organizer George Opare-Addo also paid their respects.
Madam Lucie left behind three children whom she bore with Chief Biney.
