Central Regional House of Chiefs back Mahama’s development plans for the region

The President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII, has backed John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in his efforts to advance development in the Central Region if elected.

He assured Mahama of the chiefs’ readiness to work together on these challenges, stating, “Once elected as President of Ghana, we will collaborate closely to drive development in the Central Region.

“While we recognize the ongoing road projects, many have been left incomplete. We are committed to ensuring that our roads are properly constructed. Additionally, we will work together to create employment opportunities in the region.”

Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII also praised the NDC for choosing Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang from the Central Region as the party’s running mate.

“We are pleased that the party has selected someone from our region for the vice-presidential position. We also extend our gratitude to John Mahama for retaining Prof. Opoku Agyemang as his running mate.”

Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII made the comment when Mr. Mahama introduced his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang to the Central Regional House of Chiefs on Tuesday, July 30.
