The 23 constituency organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region have pledged their unwavering support for Ekow Panyin Eduamoah, the nominee for Central Regional Minister.
Led by their dean, Raymond A. Moore, the organizers held a press conference to express gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing a grassroots figure to the ministerial position.
They lauded Eduamoah’s dedication, describing him as a hardworking and well-liked individual who previously served as the region’s First Vice Regional Chairman and as an operations officer during the recent campaign.
“We are pleased with his nomination and are confident in his ability to serve the Central Region effectively,” they stated.
During the press conference, the organizers appealed to President Mahama to support the completion of key abandoned projects in the region, including the Komenda Sugar Factory, Elmina Fish Processing Factory, Anomabo Fishery College, and the Ajumako-Bisease Nursing Training School.
They emphasized that completing these projects would create much-needed employment opportunities for the youth.
In addition, the organizers commended President Mahama for other key appointments, including Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson as Minister for Finance, Felix Kwakye Ofosu as Acting Spokesperson for the Presidency, Prof. Ama Brown Klutse as CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who made history as the first female Vice President.
They reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating with the Regional Minister nominee and the Presidency to advance the development of the Central Region.
