Cecilia Marfo gives away GH¢ 10,000; other items to orphanage in Tema

Award Winning gospel musician Evangelist Cecilia Marfo presented a sum of GH¢ 10,000 Cedis and other items to the Risen Star Orphanage Home at Dodowa in Tema.

Presenting the items to the management of the orphanage, the gospel musician said the donation was to empower the staff of the orphanage to continue with their great work.

The Afunumu Ba hitmaker further disclosed that, the kind gesture formed part of the social responsibility activities undertaken annually by her foundation dubbed, ‘Cecilia Marfo Foundation.’

Cecilia said the support of Cecilia Marfo Foundation will be a blessing to the needy and less-privileged in society, although this is not the first time her foundation has embarked on such kind gesture.

“The ministry is not only about music, I believe as minister of the gospel, our lives must also emphatically influence the lives of others and the affect ought to be coordinated to these children because they need our physical support,” she said.

The staff of the Risen Star Orphanage Home expressed their appreciation to Evangelist Cecilia Marfo with tears of joy.

The husband of Evangelist Cecilia Marfo, Mr Clement Kofi Yeboah Adupedie encouraged the houseparents of the Risen Star Orphanage Home to stand firm in their endeavour and to continue to show their kindness towards the less-privileged.

He finally showered blessings on the children, staffs and the houseparents of the Risen Star Orphanage Home.

Meanwhile, the gospel maestro, Cecilia Marfo is set to hold a prayer retreat dubbed: “Ene Awurade Nnmedi Ahyia’ (Encounter With God).

The event will hold from the 15th December to the last day of the year, 31st December, 2019, Cross_Over Night at Afienya-Mataheko, closer to First Bridge.

Cecilia Marfo successfully launched two albums this year to mark her 18th album in a period of 21 years in the gospel music ministry.
