Career Day: Parents urged to support children’s choices

-

Parents have been encouraged to nurture their children’s career aspirations and allow them to pursue their passions, as it is key to their fulfillment and success in life.

This call was made by the Founder of Grubi Holy Academy School, Mr. Elijah Ntoso Denteh, during the school’s Career Day celebration held at Grubi.

Speaking to Adom News Correspondent Odehyeba Owusu Job, Mr. Ntoso highlighted the significance of the event, stating that it would expose students to various global career opportunities and help them develop essential skills while leveraging technology.

He also urged parents to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on their children regarding career choices. Instead, he advised them to spend quality time with their wards, observe their interests, and guide them accordingly.

“Parents need to closely monitor their children and support their interests. This is the best way to help them excel in their chosen fields,” he stated.

Some students who participated in the program expressed optimism about how the event would help them choose the right career paths.

They acknowledged that learning about various professions firsthand had broadened their understanding of career options and motivated them to work harder toward their goals.

The Career Day at Grubi Holy Academy was a vibrant and insightful event, reinforcing the importance of early career guidance and parental support in shaping the future of young learners.
