An altercation ensued between an electorate and an independent parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Abdul Rauf Abugri Mumuni, during the Special Voting exercise on Monday.
Reports suggest Mr Mumuni accused the young man of attempting to take a photograph of his ballot paper.
A video shared on X by Accra-based ChannelOne TV captured the duo exchange words and nearly physical but for the swift intervention of the Police present.
Mr Mumuni was heard telling the electorate whose identity is not immediately known to go and inform his paymasters he did not succeed.
