CAF Inter-Club Award: Dreams FC nominated for Male Club of the Year

-

Dreams FC has received a nomination for the Male Club of the Year by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

This honour comes after their impressive run in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they reached the semifinals in their debut season.

Unfortunately, their journey ended there as they were defeated by the eventual champions, FC Zamalek.

The Ghana Premier League side will compete for the award against a strong lineup of contenders, including Atletico Petroleos, Young Africans, Simba SC, TP Mazembe, Zamalek, Mamelodi Sundowns, ES Tunis, RS Berkane, and reigning African champions Al Ahly.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco, which will host the event for the third consecutive year following a star-studded celebration last year.

CAF will announce the exact start time for the awards in the near future.

The CAF Awards recognize outstanding achievements in both club and national competitions, culminating in the prestigious titles of CAF African Player of the Year in both the men’s and women’s categories.
