CAF confederations Cup: Kotoko depart to Sudan

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have left the country to Sudan ahead of their first CAF Confederations Cup group game against Al-Hilal on Sunday.

Charles Kwabla Akunnor together with his 18-man squad left the shores of Accra Thursday for Ethiopia en route to Sudan.

The team comprises two goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and three strikers.

Below is the squad list of the Porcupine Warriors.

Goalkeepers: Felix Annan, Mundari Tagoe

Defenders: Wahab Adams, Amos Frimpong, Augustine Sefa, Abdul Ishmail Ganiu, Evans Owusu, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu.

Midfielders: Richard Senanu, Kwame Bonsu, Umar Basiru, Maxwell Baako, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Prince Acquah, Stephen Nyarko

Strikers: Obed Owusu, Abdul Fatawu, Sogne Yacouba.

Kotoko entered the group stage of Africa’s second-tier club competition on a 5-3 aggregated scoreline against Coton Sport of Cameroun.
