CAF Confederation Cup: Aduana gets first point after 3-3 draw at home

Aduana Stars came from behind thrice to snatch a point after a 3-3 drawn game against Raja Casablanca Wednesday afternoon in their second group game of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Congolese youngster Oba Ikama Ulitch making his first appearance in the competition with a starting berth drew first blood for the home side who conceded early in the first half.

Niger international  Hainikoye Soumana Boubacar also came from the bench to make his debut for the home side.

The Moroccan giants took the lead when Mahmoud Benhalib beat the offside trap to fire past goalkeeper, Joseph Addo.

In the 39th minute, Congolese international, Lema Mabidi Chikito slotted in a corner kick to put Raja Casablanca ahead, before halftime.

Aduana Stars came back strongly into the game when Caleb Amankwah headed home a corner to level proceedings.

Aduana needed substitute and former Raja Casablanca striker Nathaniel Asamoah to make it 3-3 for them in the 90th minute.

AS Vita Club now lead the pack with four points with ASEC Mimosa having a point behind them as the Ghanaian Champions languish at the bottom of the table with a point.
